We can change that only IF you open your heart and home.<br/><br/>What we know about Charlie: <br/>10-12 years old<br/>22 pounds (overweight)<br/>Walks great on leash<br/>Friendly, shy<br/>Gets along with dogs (with proper introductions)<br/>Chases cats <br/>Kids 12+ older<br/>Potty training is a work in progress<br/>Talker<br/>Male / female home<br/><br/>Charlie lived most of his life indoors, fed people food, led an inactive/isolated lifestyle. Charlie's wellness exam, senior blood panel and urinalysis were positive with no health concerns and will need a dental within the year. <br/><br/>We would LOVE to change Charlie's past so while he's being temporarily cared for, we have instructed the guardians to begin his weight loss with a healthy diet, senior supplements and incorporate daily gentle walks. <br/><br/>The home and lifestyle we are striving for is as follows:<br/>- Retired, work from home <br/>- Active walkers, quiet lifestyle, adventures outside of the home<br/>- Single family residence with secure fenced yard<br/>- Rural setting (he is not a city boy)<br/>- Another small dog similar in age/energy and activity level<br/>- No cats<br/>- Experience and breed specific knowledge.<br/>- Follows positive force free training guidelines<br/><br/>Locations we adopt: Washington State, Oregon, British Columbia<br/><br/>Please connect with us via email: hearts4doxies@gmail.com
