Charlie's Story

Meet Charlie
Charlie is a 1-year-old Shepherd mix who was surrendered when his owner could no longer keep him.

According to his previous owner, Charlie has lived with other dogs and children, though he has not been around cats. He was surrendered alongside another dog and has experience sharing his home with canine companions.

Staff describe Charlie as friendly, social, and quite the chatterbox! He loves being around people and isn't shy about letting you know when he'd like some attention. If you're nearby and not acknowledging him, he'll happily bark to remind you he's there! Charlie greets people with excitement and has plenty of puppy energy, often jumping up to say hello and playing with all his heart.

Charlie enjoys the company of other dogs but has a very energetic play style, so a meet and greet is recommended with any resident dogs to ensure they're a good match. While he likes other dogs, he can be a little timid when unfamiliar dogs bark at him, so patient introductions are important
