Charlie's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Charlie was hit by a car and sustained a fractured spine, traumatic brain injury, severe road rash to both his eyes and his body. He spent two months in the hospital recovering from his injuries.

We were able to save both his eyes, but he does have limited vision in them. He is currently a paraplegic and gets around in a wheelchair, but he is gaining more and more use of his legs every day. Our hope that he will be able to walk on all fours again in the future.

He does have some issues with controlling his bladder. This is related to his fractured spine.
