Meet Charlie
Hi, my name is Charlie. I was formerly known by my friends as Brownie. My friends tell me my imperfect lip gives me an even more endearing smile! I just turned 5. I'm super smart, and I know "sit", "paw", and "stay" - they trained me well!
My favorite pastimes are playing tug of war with my people or a good game of fetch. I'm very good at it, and I love it when there is more than one toy so I can drop one at your feet and chase the other. I usually bring it back too!
I am a little shy around new people. I take a bit to warm up but once I'm comfortable I am the most affectionate and loving girl you will ever meet. I would do best in a home with an experienced dog owner who has no other pets but me and also no kids. I would also like a house where I have lots of rubber toys and a big comfy dog bed to sleep in!
