Charlie's Story

Charlie is a joyful, lovable boy who came to us from a hoarding case involving more than 50 dogs. When we first met him on the property during feedings, Charlie was understandably hesitant and took some time to warm up to us. But the moment he was finally let off his chain, it was like watching an entirely different dog emerge.

Charlie is full of joy, nonstop butt wiggles, and kisses. Once he realized he was safe, his happy and affectionate personality came shining through. He absolutely loves people and is kid-friendly, making him a wonderful companion for an active family.

Charlie is also extremely dog-friendly, including with small dogs. He has a sweet, submissive play style and genuinely enjoys having canine friends. He would do best in a home without cats, small critters, or livestock.

Charlie has spent too much of his life without the freedom and love every dog deserves. Now that he has discovered how wonderful life can be, he's ready to find a family who will let those butt wiggles continue for years to come.

Charlie is currently in foster care and is not physically located at our facility. If you are interested in setting up a time to meet Charlie, please reach out to haveaheartpetshelter@gmail.com or call 870-449-7387.
