Though Charlie enjoys short bursts of zoomies and may chase squirrels on occasion, he’s happiest when he’s lounging around. He’s not a fan of hot weather, long exercise sessions, or baths, but come summertime, he does enjoy a cool dip in a baby pool to keep comfortable.<br/>Temperament: Charlie is a sweet and affectionate dog who loves being around his people. He’s crate trained, knows basic commands, and is an expert snuggler. Charlie tends to bond strongly with the men in the household but is equally loving and friendly with everyone. He’s good with other dogs and gets excited when meeting new friends, though he prefers slow introductions. Once he’s settled, he’s happy to hang out with his doggy pals. Unfortunately, Charlie doesn’t care much for cats, so he’d be best in a home without them. While he may chase squirrels if he spots them, he’s not a digger or a fence-jumper, so you won’t have to worry about him escaping.<br/>Health & Special Considerations: Charlie doesn’t handle heat well and prefers cool environments. He’s not into long walks or intense exercise, but he’s fit and enjoys short, leisurely strolls.
