Charlie's Story

**** NOT AVAILABLE **** NO HOLDS******
Need time to decompress Availability TBA

Meet Charlie - the sweetest angel in town!
Charlie is a member of our "Charlie's Angels" group. He was brought to us alongside three other dogs. They were transferred from Garden City's animals shelter, where they had been part of a hoarding case. Their previous owner realized they needed help and surrendered their dogs to their shelter so they could find better situations.
We don't know much about Charlie's past. He is about 4 months, and judging off looks he seems to be a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He gets along great with the other dogs he was brought with, but we aren't sure if he's been around cats or children. We have not noticed any signs of resource guarding from him yet, but that can be common in dogs that have come from similar situations such as his, so it is something to be cautious of. With his history, he is feeling pretty nervous right now. He is a very sweet boy, but he needs someone that will be patient with him as he gets used to his new normal. It's likely that he spent his whole life inside of that one house, so a shelter situation can be very overwhelming. Once he trusts you he is very loving and clingy, but it will take time. He also doesn't seem like he's received any training before, so his owner will need to work with him and teach him the basics.
Charlie is such a sweetheart and he deserves a home where he can learn what true love really is. If you are willing to open your heart to this boy and give him the chance to show you his wonderful potential, come out and meet him today!
