He will stay by your side, snuggle and play. He has a very sweet temperament and wants nothing more than someone who loves him. He is pretty laid back and easy to hang with. He is a special little guy who easily steals hearts! <br/><br/>Everyone who spends some time with this little guy is in love with him! He is curious and much of the time, he automatically sits up on his hind legs to interact with you or to look around. It is adorable and he must know it! He also will walk by your ankles and stop and move his leg up and down on your ankle to let you know he is there and is your friend. Just another one of his ways he connects with people he likes! <br/><br/>Charlie likes to run and play but his favorite past time is always being with his people. He is great with older kids as well. <br/><br/>He is house trained so long as he is not left for long periods of time without going outside. <br/><br/>Adoption Information<br/><br/>Please note: Because of their size, our dogs are not suitable for homes with children under 5.<br/><br/>We do not have a physical facility — all of our dogs live in loving foster homes.<br/>Lil’ Paws is a small, all-volunteer organization. To best use our limited time and resources, we are only able to correspond with individuals who have submitted an adoption application.<br/><br/>If you live in the immediate Austin area and are interested in adopting from Lil' Paws Maltese Rescue and Other Petite Paws, please visit www.lilpaws.org<br/><br/>If you would like to meet Charlie please plan to attend our next Meet and Greet event at Pet Supplies Plus in Round Rock from noon to 2pm on the first Saturday of each month.<br/><br/>Our local adoption requirement is due to the thoroughness of our process, which includes home visits and a trial adoption period to ensure the dog has adjusted well. With our small team of volunteers, it is not possible to conduct these steps outside our area. Even if you are willing to travel, we must keep our efforts local to maintain the integrity of our process.<br/><br/>Our mission is to place our dogs in safe, stable, and loving homes within the Austin area.
