Charlie's Story
Meet Charlie!

Charlie is a sweet boy around 23 years old with the biggest heart and an even bigger love for snuggles. Hes an absolute cuddle bug and a true happy-go-lucky guy who just enjoys being near his people. Charlie is a petite guy around 45 pounds!

Through no fault of his own, Charlie found himself at the city shelter and was only hours away from euthanasia due to kennel stress. Thankfully, we were able to pull him in time. Since arriving at the Sketchy House, he hasnt shown any of the stress behaviors noted at IACS. Instead, hes been nothing but a calm, loving, easygoing boy. He happily snuggles into his blankets, chews on his favorite bones, and enjoys watching his doggy friends go about their day.

Charlie has quickly stolen all of our hearts. He hasnt met a stranger yet and is very interested in other dogs, happily making new friends. Were unsure how he is with cats, but he responds well to recall and redirection, which could make him a good candidate for a cat sibling with proper introductions.

He is potty trained, does great in his kennel, and while he can relax there just fine, he definitely prefers being out and about with his people. He loves playing with his stuffies and will proudly bring his toys over to you so he can play right by your side while soaking up affection. Thats just who he is a loving boy who wants to share everything with you.

Charlie is truly the best boy who simply ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now hes just waiting for his perfect people to give him the forever home he deserves.

Could you be Charlies forever family?

*Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy

*Please visit website for how to adopt: https://sketchymuttsandunderdogs.org/adopt

*Please note that we do not operate on a first come first served basis
