Charley is a very sweet 1.5 year old Golden Retriever, around 47 lbs. He is shy and needs to be in a home to bond with another dog. He is an amazing companion who will easily bring a smile to your face. He loves to play with other dogs, going on long walks and even maybe going for a run . He has a sadness about him because he lost his buddy so we really want him to find a new playmate to perk him up. He is neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm tested negative. Paws 4 the Cause's Adoption Policy

Paws 4 the Cause is an all volunteer "no kill" rescue. We do not harm animals, but the more we can adopt out, the more we can take in. We take in the hardest cases, dogs and cats that are close to death or starvation. The adoption fee barely covers a fraction of what we spend. Our average animal costs about $200 for the first month in food and vet fees, and approx. $50 per month thereafter. All donations are used to pay directly for animal food and vet expenses. There are no employee or overhead expenses.
