Charles's Story

Meet Charles—better known as Charlie! This big-headed, low-riding hunk of a dog is a 60-pound brindle bundle packed with personality, charm, and an easygoing nature that has made him a favorite in his foster home.

Charlie is the kind of dog who is simply happy to be part of your day. He loves spending time outside, happily surveying his domain, and when it's time to come inside, he settles beautifully in his crate without a fuss. His southern foster absolutely adores him and says he's a really great dog to have around.

Charlie is still heartworm positive, but he has nearly completed his treatment and is scheduled to be retested next month. Please don't let that discourage you—heartworm is not contagious and is completely treatable. Charlie has done wonderfully throughout the process and is looking forward to putting this chapter behind him.

Charlie is currently in South Carolina and is ready to make the trip north on or after July 25. He's looking for either a foster home or a foster-to-adopt home to welcome him when he arrives.

Fostering is completely free—we provide all food, supplies, and veterinary care. All you need to provide is a safe, loving home and plenty of love while he waits for his forever family.

If you've been thinking about adopting but would like to make sure Charlie is the perfect fit first, our foster-to-adopt program is a wonderful option. It gives you the opportunity to welcome him into your home before finalizing the adoption, making the transition easier for everyone while ensuring it's the right match.

Transport arrives in Pottstown, PA, with morning pickup.

If you've been thinking about fostering or adopting, Charlie would love to be the reason you say yes.

To learn more about fostering, fostering-to-adopt, or adopting Charlie, or if you have questions about heartworm treatment and what it means for adopters, please email us at mostlymuttz@gmail.com.

www.mostlymuttz.org

Link to Charlie's bio: https://www.wagtopia.com/search/pet?id=2499662&name=Charles

#mostlymuttzrescue #fosteringsaveslives
