Charity's Story

Charity is an intelligent border collie/jack russel mix. She's a mature girl, at five years old, and a semi small girl at around twenty pounds. She's an adventurous active girl who loves walks and playing fetch (especially with a larger ball). She's got the classic border collie wariness around new people, but as staff and volunteers will attest once she's your friend she's your friend for life. Due to her nervous nature a home without children would be most suitable. She is also a cat chaser (the jack russel in her...) and very particular about other dogs. An owner with border collie or jack russel experience is preferred, as she really needs someone willing to understand her quirks.

For more information on Charity, call AWS at 860-354-1350 email animalwelfare.socty@snet.net or visit our website aws-shelter.org for an application. Adoption Fees for Adult Dogs is $400.
