Charity's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Charity is a sweet 3-year-old Cane Corso with a heart that just wants to belong to someone again.

Charity’s story is a tough one. Her original owner began breeding Corsos but later moved out of state for a new job, leaving several breeding dogs behind on the property. The owner’s daughter moved in, but she was not experienced with the breed and became fearful of them. Thankfully, a kind neighbor stepped in to help feed and care for the dogs.

We were initially asked to help with two dogs — and discovered there were four. We are working to safely bring each one into rescue and give them the fresh start they deserve.

Before all of this, Charity was an indoor house dog. She was crate trained and had good house manners. She is dog friendly and absolutely loves to cuddle.

Like many Corsos, she can be a bit reactive at first and may seem shy or unsure when meeting new people. But once she warms up? It’s incredible. She becomes the ultimate velcro dog — leaning into you, curling up beside you, and wanting nothing more than to be close.

Charity is looking for someone who understands the breed and will give her the stability, structure, and love she deserves.

If you feel that connection... just you and Charity
Please put in your application today.

Arizona Mastiff Rescue
www.azmastiffrescue.com

#AzMastiffRescue #CaneCorso #CorsoRescue #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #CorsoLove #MastiffRescue #ArizonaDogs #AdoptCharity

Canine Rescue Coalition (AZ Mastiff Rescue)'s Adoption Policy
The adoption process is simple and we try to make it as quick as possible. The steps are as follows: 1. Fill out an application at one of our websites. www.azmastiffrescue.com 2. We will call you to do a phone interview. 3. We will conduct a home visit. 4. You meet our dogs and adopt. You must be willing to drive to meet our dogs. It is really the best way for you to choose the dog that fits you best. And it gives you an opportunity to meet all of our dogs. Occasionally, if a potential home is near where the dog is being fostered then the dog can be brought to meet you during the home visit. We work hard to insure that our dogs fit the homes that they go into. We will only place a dog into a home that fits. We make every effort for you to adopt the dog of your choice. However, due to the above it is not always possible. We will have a dog that fits your home so if the dog
