The world is a bit overwhelming for him right now, and he's learning--slowly and bravely--that people can be kind and safe. Chappo will do best in a calm, patient home where he's given time and space to grow at his own pace.<br/><br/>What Chappo does know for sure is that he loves other dogs. Having a confident canine companion to show him the ropes would be a huge help as he continues to come out of his shell. With consistency, gentle encouragement, and lots of understanding, Chappo has all the potential to blossom into a wonderful little companion. If you have a soft heart and a steady home, Chappo is ready to start his next chapter with you. 💙Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.
