Chapo's Story

Sweet Chapo, he's around 5 to 6 years old maybe older.

He is the absolute sweetest boy and has the best demeanor.

He would rather lay next to me in my office instead of sitting outside or in a kennel.

However, if he does go outside, he just prefers to sunbathe.

He has not had a consistent owner in his past life and because of that all he wants to do is jump the fence to find you if he's unable to see you or gets left alone in the yard by himself.

However, if he has dog friends in the yard, he has no desire to go anywhere

I found out he had an owner a month ago, but they were in Tulsa and said he had been missing for years and said that he was an escape artist and that they were afraid to take him back because he would do the same thing again and because he was a Pitt mix people were scared of them and they didn't want anything bad to happen

They sure that he escaped their yard many times and they aren't even sure how he ended up in Collinsville, but we're happy to hear he was still alive.

I'm not sure why the sweet boy hasn't been adopted out. He is great with kids, cats and dogs.
He is also house train and kennel trained.

He is the most overlooked because he's just another Oklahoma, black Pitbull mix.

As much as I love him, he can't stay at the shelter forever. It's only supposed to be temporary and he is currently at risk as he has been at Collinsville Animal Services for 3 weeks.

He desperately needs a foster or adopter by June 12th.

His $90 adoption fee includes: dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative, vaccinated, given monthly prevention and microchipped.

Foster dog links:
https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/OKCP/Dog

Adoption Dog Links:

https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/OKCP/Dog

Email: pets@cityofcollinsville.com

If you're unable to adopt, you can sponsor an adoption fee to any of our animals find a family:

PayPal: PayPal.me/SPACAR
CashApp: $SPACAR
Venmo: @SPACAR
Mail: P.O.
