This is a GUEST LISTING. Please contact April at aspaniol2@yahoo.com or 912.409.5006 if you have questions or are interested in meeting Chapo.
____________________________________
This is what Chapo's owner said about him.

Chapo is a very sweet 10-month old German Shepherd and Boxer mix she is having to re-home because of her long work hours. She rescued him from a homeless family who wanted better for him. She crates him all day and into the night while at work and knows this is no life for a dog.

Chapo weighs 50 lbs., is heart worm negative and on heart worm preventative, and loves dogs and children. Because he is very playful, to keep him from accidentally knocking them down, any children should be older. It's not known whether he would hurt a cat; however, according to the owner, he shows too much interest in them and so to keep everyone safe, she advises no cats.

Chapo can be both very energetic and laid back: he's energetic around other dogs and at playtime, but he is very chill when it's just him and his person. Because he's so active around other dogs and his wanting to play a lot, she recommends that Chapo go to a home with larger dogs or no dogs at all so he doesn't unintentionally hurt a smaller dog. However, it appears another playful large dog would help him release a lot of his energy. And, because he's still a puppy, he would greatly benefit from training and consistency from an assertive owner who will take the time to work with him.

Chapo is housebroken. He is still learning but is "fairly good on leash."

The first and fourth photos of Chapo are current; the others were taken at an earlier age.

Chapo lives in St. Mary's, Georgia.

A fenced-in yard, home check and veterinarian reference is required.
