Chanel- Stunner

This beauty is Chanel and she is ready for a home of her own! Chanel is between 1-2 years old, spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines. <br/><br/>Check out what Lisa, her foster at Black Oaks Kennels has to say! <br/>Chanel welcomes all people with kisses and snuggles, especially if there is a ball to be played with. She has excelled in her obedience training, she knows sit, down, stay, wait, back up, drop it, leave it, has good recall, and good leash skills. The most fun thing about Chanel is her love of using her nose. I have introduced her to Scent Detection Training. She has imprinted on NOTA (a scientist made odor) and this will allow her to be imprinted on any other odor. So, if you are looking for a scent dog to compete with or just have fun with, she's your girl. She loves doing agility and going swimming at the lake. She has been introduced to livestock and is good around horses.<br/><br/>Chanel has been introduced to many new dogs with a fence barrier between them. She has attended many group classes and has been in very large crowds with people and other dogs. While I have not let her play with other dogs here, I believe with the right dog and a slow introduction she would be fine.<br/><br/>Chanel travels great in the car and has been to Tractor Supply, Penn Valley Hardware, and Nevada Union High School for scent training. She shows no fear of new places and will ignore the environment to find her ball or the odor NOTA. She has been to my handler’s house to meet her horse and have an experience in a new home.<br/><br/>Chanel is currently eating Pro Plan 30/20 - 5 cups a day. She is very gentle with taking treats too. She will sit and wait for her food.
