Chandler

My humans say I'm a Comedian and a good Friend. That's why they named me Chandler.I am very happy-go-lucky despite my sad start in life. You see, I thought I had found my perfect home when my 32 year old human died suddenly. I had to leave my wonderful, stable environment to the uncertain existence in a shelter. Next I was adopted by newlyweds and after 18 months, they divorced. I went to live my male human and his family. The family objected because they had 3 other dogs, one of whom didn't like me. So I was sent to my human's grandmother's house. She was great but I was a bit too energetic for her. She often kept me in the garage which I did not like. The Dog Mahal found out and brought me back. It's fine here but I long for another forever home where I am loved full time and where I can devote my my life to another human or family. I am house broken, walk well on a leash (unless a wily squirrel catches my eye), do well on car rides and know the commands sit, heel, and come. I love humans and would do best as an only dog but can be around most. I am fine around older children but am a bit impatient with the younger ones. My foster human says I have high entertainment value because I have a very goofy personality. She says it is impossible to be sad or lonely with me around! I would be best in a house with a fenced yard or with someone who takes me on a morning jog or walk. I would not be good in a home that does give me access to exercise; a home that is fairly active would be ideal.
