I am a very happy-go-lucky youngster despite my sad start in life. You see, I thought I had found my perfect home when my 32 year old human died suddenly. I had to leave my wonderful, stable environment to the uncertain existence in a shelter. I long for another forever home where I am loved and where I can devote my my life to another human or family. I am house broken, walk well on a leash (unless a wily squirrel catches my eye), do well on car rides and know the commands sit and come. I love humans and do fine with most dogs but must be fed separately from them (I can be around humans when I eat but get upset if other dogs are present). I would be great in a home with adults and kids as I am friendly and lovable. My foster human says I have high entertainment value because I have a very goofy personality. She says it is impossible to be sad or lonely with me around! I would be best in a house with a fenced yard or with someone who takes me on a daily jog or walk. I would not be good in a home that does give me access to exercise; a home that is fairly active would be ideal.
