Yes, but he doesn't know his name so recall is not great.

Chance is a little over 1 year old and an Olde English Bulldog mix with the biggest heart. He was pulled from the euthanasia list after a rough start that no dog should ever have to endure.

Animal control picked Chance up after he ran to a family’s home looking for help while their dogs were attacking him. When he was taken to the vet, it was discovered that he had been shot multiple times as well. Despite everything he has been through, Chance is still the sweetest, most loving boy you will ever meet.

He absolutely loves people and does great with other dogs. Chance is almost always happy, and you’ll usually find him walking around with a toy in his mouth, proudly trying to show it to other dogs to get them to play with him. He loves tug-of-war — whether it’s with people or another dog and playtime is one of his favorite things.

When Chance is really happy, he does these little jumps straight up in the air, lifting all four paws off the ground. We call him our jumping bean, and it never fails to make us smile.

When you sit down, Chance wants to be right there with you. He’s a lap dog at heart and loves to “corn cob” you as his way of showing affection. He just wants to be close.

Chance has been introduced to a 10-week-old kitten. At first, he was unsure and a little scared, then became curious and wanted to chase. With adult cats, he was more timid and seemed scared of them. He does well with people, he enjoys being pet and meeting new faces, but he’s not pushy and won’t pull you toward strangers.

Chance has been through so much pain and confusion, yet he chooses love every single day. He’s gentle, joyful, and full of affection, and he’s ready for a home where he will finally be safe and cherished, just like he deserves.

Location: Tyler Texas. The cost to transport is $300 (includes health certificate and transport fee)
Adoption Fee: $250 (includes vaccines, deworming, spay, negative heartworm test and prevention, Negative Fecal Test, microchip, and vet ca/re)

Our adoption application: https://www.unleashthepaws.com/adoption-application
