Chance's Story

CHANCE
It’s time for our adorable little guy to find his perfect forever home! He has quite the story to tell… His Mom was dumped in the farm fields (pregnant) captured by animal control and taken to the shelter. We pulled her from the shelter and a few weeks later CHANCE was born. He was the first born of two and enjoyed the company of his baby sister Chyna for about 6.5 weeks until we learned of a genetic deformity she was born with and had to humanely euthanize her.
CHANCE is going on 9 weeks of age and has been lovingly handled since birth so he is happy to greet people! He has also been well socialized with many other dogs, but is still trying to figure out the cat thing!
CHANCE has a big personality to go along with his ‘low rider’ frame. We believe he is a terrier mix, and boy does he act like one! He is sweet and loveable one minute and feisty the next! He is pretty fearless with the other dogs and is dominant with the small dogs. He has a rough style of play (which doesn’t always go over well with the others) and even after a correction by one of the dogs he comes charging back for more!
He likes playing with toys and chews and has even done some fetching! He’s a smart boy!
He will do best in a home with another young, playful, interactive pup under 20lbs to keep him entertained and socialized.
CHANCE does pretty well with doing his potty on pee pads in a contained area of the house, and is taken outside with the others often so he is learning his outside potty training as well.
CHANCE sleeps in an x-pen at night and is pretty much quiet through the night as long as he sees the other dogs and/or human. He is still a baby so there are times of whining/crying when he wakes up during the night, and even in day when he wants out of the pen!
Due to his very small size and razor sharp teeth, no children under 7 yrs of age for him.
Terrier savvy homes are a plus!!
*This puppy requires a home with attached yard and secured 6’ fencing.
No apartments/condos/townhouses*

Chance’s adoption fee is $475 which includes health examination, current vaccinations according to age, neuter, microchip, flea and deworming treatment along with any other medical or dental deemed necessary by our veterinarian.
