A dog who had every reason to be cautious.<br/><br/>The second photo was taken yesterday during photo day.<br/><br/>When someone walks past his kennel or reaches toward him through the bars, Chance becomes worried. He may growl or ask for space. In a shelter, surrounded by constant noise, unfamiliar people, and nowhere to retreat, that's how he tells us he's uncomfortable.<br/>So yes, his kennel carries a "Bite Risk" sign.<br/>Not because Chance is a bad or aggressive dog.<br/> It's there because we want every interaction to start safely and thoughtfully while he continues building confidence.<br/><br/>Here's the part most visitors never see.<br/>Open the kennel door.
