Chance came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation and spent over a year in a Texas sanctuary without a single application. We knew he deserved more, so he made the journey to Wisconsin to begin his new chapter. Chance can be a bit nervous when first meeting new people, but with a little patience his sweet personality starts to shine. Once he warms up, he’ll happily come over for scratches and attention. He’s been doing a great job going potty outside and is currently wearing belly bands indoors as he continues to adjust to home life. Crates aren’t his favorite place just yet, but he’s making progress as he learns they can be safe and comfortable. Chance does have a voice and isn’t shy about using it, so he would do best in a home rather than an apartment setting. What Chance needs most is a patient, understanding home where he can continue to build confidence and finally experience consistent love and care.
