Chance<br/>Estimated 1-3 years old<br/>Current on vaccines, HW treatment and now prevention, flea/tick, neutered, microchipped<br/><br/>Chance was a matted, un-neutered, heartworm positive stray. He was very fearful, did not know how to walk on a leash, stand for a bath, get a hair cut etc. I think he was never cared for and possibly abused. He has bloomed into a wonderful dog since gaining his confidence!<br/><br/>Once he gets comfortable with you he is very loving, loyal and FUNNY! He loves to play, rub, roll .... he has personality coming out his ears and will keep you smiling.<br/>Good with other dogs ( I have a blind poodle he has been so good with). He has ben very playful but gentle with another rescue dog in our care. <br/>Ignored cats . <br/>Non reactive to chickens. <br/>Fearful of small children. He has now become sweet with my 4 yr old granddaughter , giving kisses etc but I will not recommend him to a home with small children. He is very fearful until he gains confidence and it wouldn't be fair to put him in a position that could cause a bite from fear. <br/>Fence required as he is a flight risk with very little recall. He does not challenge fencing and has been contained with in a folding fence while on vacation. <br/>Now walks well on a leash, stops at the door to have his feet checked, bathes like a champ, does pretty good for hair cuts and is doing well with house breaking. <br/>He is a quiet dog, rarely ever barks. <br/>See DNA panel, mix of many companion breeds.
