Champion-Foster's Story

Champion is a 1-year-old white and gray pup with a big heart and even bigger puppy energy. Inside the house, Champ is an absolute sweetheart. He loves being around his people, settles down nicely, and happily snoozes through the night until morning. He is a tender-hearted boy who truly wants to please and responds well to gentle guidance.

Champ is still learning about the big world outside. Everything is fascinating to him. People, animals, even leaves blowing in the wind can grab his attention. Because of this, he can get pretty excited when he wants to investigate something. He will need a patient adopter who can continue working on his leash skills and help him practice focusing when distractions pop up. He is already learning cues like "leave it" and is starting to make progress.

Champion would do best as the only dog in the home and in a quieter environment without a lot of fast movement. We recommend older, respectful kids, with a meet and greet required, since busy households can be overwhelming for him. Champ would likely thrive with someone who has a fenced-in yard where he can safely burn off his puppy energy.

Despite his enthusiasm for the outdoors, Champ has never shown signs of aggression and truly loves people. He greets new friends with excitement and is happy to spend time with anyone willing to give him attention.

Champion is a wonderful dog who just needs the right person. Someone with patience, a sense of humor, and a little space for him to run. In return, you will get a goofy, loving companion who wants nothing more than to be your very best friend.
