He does experience separation anxiety, so his future family should be prepared to help him feel safe and comfortable when left alone. Chai shares an incredibly special bond with his sister, Mocha, and the two must be adopted together. Chai has tested positive for Lyme disease antibodies and ANA (antinuclear antibodies). A Lyme-positive result means he has been exposed to the bacteria that causes Lyme disease, while an ANA-positive result means antibodies associated with autoimmune activity were detected in his blood. These results do not necessarily mean he is currently ill, but his adopter should discuss them with their veterinarian. Chai and Mocha are ready to find their forever home together!
