CHAD NEEDS A HERO! <br/>He is shy to warm up and has not done well at meet and greets because of this. He wants to stay near his foster, where he is comfortable. He needs time, trust, and patience. The bond likely isn't going to happen instantaneously (it didn't for us) but now he thinks we are his best friends. <br/><br/>Chadwick is a young shepherd mix. He was saved from the euthanasia list at the Dog Warden in Eaton, Ohio. We believe he was abused by his past owner as he can initially be fearful of men. However, he quickly warms up with treats and pets. With routine and trust, Chadwick comes out of his shell and shows he is just a big puppy! Chadwick didn't deserve to die because humans failed him.<br/><br/>Today Chadwick is ready for his second chance!<br/><br/>Out of an abundance of caution, we prefer Chadwick is adopted into an adult only home while he learns to trust people again. He is kind with our 3 year old son, gives him licks and kisses, but we would like to play it safe as he can get startled from his past.<br/><br/>The longer he has been in our home, the more he blossoms! He is a good boy ready for his person! <br/><br/>He would make a great adventure partner!
