Chaco (3-legs)

Chaco is a 2 year old Shepherd mix boy that came to us from another small municipal shelter after being hit by a car and having a front leg amputation. He is completely healed and his fur is growing back in nicely. While he did well with a cat introduction in the shelter environment he did not do well with a cat at his foster home and should therefore go to a home without cats.<br/><br/>My name is Chaco! I came from another rural shelter after being hit by a car and<br/>losing one of my front legs. Although I am still navigating missing a leg, I love playing and going on walks. My walks are a little shorter than other dogs but I still love to go out and about! I love kids and other dogs but should go to a home without cats. I would love to have a family who snuggles but is still up for a good play session.<br/><br/>Chaco loves to play and run. He loves all people and so far does well with all of the dogs he has been around. He will gently jump up on you with his one front paw. We think he just wants to be hugged as it is never done with force but more to get noticed.
