Chacha's Story

Chacha is a three-year-old, 50-pound white and black APBT mix. This sweet girl was a volunteer favorite at Pinal County Animal Shelter, where her affectionate personality and soft eyes quickly won people over. Chacha can be a little shy when meeting someone new but give her a minute and she transforms into a lean-in-for-cuddles kind of companion who simply wants to be close to her person.

She walks beautifully on a leash, moving along like the polite princess of the sidewalk. Whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or a relaxing afternoon together, Chacha is happiest when she’s sharing moments with someone she trusts. She LOVES to play fetch and really shows her playful side when she gets to play and run around outside!

While at the county shelter, Chacha was attacked by another dog and suffered several cuts and punctures. The experience left her shaken, and she began to shut down in her kennel, even losing weight from the stress. Since arriving at Home Fur Good, this resilient girl has slowly started to rebuild her confidence and rediscover her spark.

With patience, kindness, and love, Chacha will blossom into an incredibly devoted companion. She truly has all the makings of a loyal best friend.

Chacha’s $250 adoption fee includes spay surgery, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.

To meet Chacha, please call 602-971-1334 to schedule an appointment, or visit Thursday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for walk-ins.
