Meet Chacey, who arrived at the shelter with his friend Coco, who has now been adopted. They were sadly surrendered to the shelter on 8/5 when their family moved and couldn't take them along. Their former family shared that both boys are good with children and other dogs. Chacey is friendly but a little shy at first. With a little time, patience, and love, he'll settle into a forever home and let his wonderful personality shine. <br/><br/>Chacey is approximately 4 years old and weighs 56 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Unfortunately, Chacey did test positive for heartworms, but with proper treatment and care he can go on to live a long and healthy life. Please speak with shelter staff about the option of fostering to adopt while he receives treatment.
