Cerro's Story
Meet Cerro!

When Cerro's owner passed away, he left behind a large group of pets - including 10 dogs - in need of new homes. Four of the dogs were adopted from the shelter, and we welcomed Cerro and the five other remaining dogs as Frosted Faces.

For several months, Cerro lived in a foster home dedicated to helping him reach a healthy weight with the ultimate goal as finding a loving forever home for this very deserving boy! Not only does Cerro now weigh 55 lbs., we have learned so much about what he is like in a home environment.

His Foster Mom shares:

"Cerro trusts his human quickly, he settles in quickly, he falls in love quickly, and you will absolutely fall in love with him quickly.

He is house-trained and uses a doggie door to go in and out of easily.
He is good on leash and has great recall. I took him to a park and every time I called his name, he would come right to me.
He likes being around other dogs. It is best to give him a slow introduction when he first meets a new dog, but after that, he is used to being around dogs and seems to enjoy it.
He is good with cats.
He really loves being snuggled and petted. He closes his eyes when you pet him because it is so soothing to him.
He is beyond adorable. Not only does he have the shortest little legs, he also has one ear that goes down and the other ear that goes back. Plus, he has a curly little piggy tail!
He gets along well on those little legs. He loves to go for walks and play with toys, but he also loves to hang around the house and cuddle.

Cerro is a really loving dog. He will make an amazing companion for whoever his lucky new family will be!"

To meet Cerro, please email placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
