Celine's Story

CELINE IS READY FOR HER FOREVER!

It’s finally her turn. Celine came to us in absolutely deplorable condition. She was emaciated, loaded with parasites, battling lungworms, and her little body had a long road ahead of it.

After lots of vet visits, medications, good food, and time to heal, Celine did what Celine does best: she fought her way through it.

And now this lovely little girl is healthy, happy, full of personality, and officially ready to find her forever family.

Celine is a 5-month-old mixed breed. Her mom appeared to be a Boxer/American Bulldog mix, and we strongly suspect her dad may have been the little Chihuahua hanging around the property. Genetics apparently decided to get creative with this one.

She is a petite girl, and we suspect she’ll stay around 30ish pounds full grown. Celine gets along with dogs of all sizes and is good with cats, although someone may need to explain to her that cats don’t always appreciate being recruited as wrestling partners.

She is kennel trained and about 95% potty trained. Leash walking is still on her list of things to learn, but she is HIGHLY treat motivated, so convincing her to do just about anything with snacks shouldn’t be too difficult.

Now, Celine does have a few non-negotiables for her future home:
1. Furniture and bed privileges are required. Celine is a serious cuddler and wants to be snuggled up with her person.
2. A fenced yard is a must. She loves to run, explore, and get those puppy zoomies out.
3. She needs a playful canine sibling who genuinely enjoys wrestling, chasing, and playing. A boring roommate will simply not do.
4. No free feeding. This girl LOVES her food and would happily turn an all-you-can-eat buffet into a personal challenge.
5. No small kiddos as she is in the mouthy puppy stage.
Celine survived the part of her story she never should have had to live through. Now we want the rest of it to be ridiculously good.

If you have the fenced yard, the playful pup, the comfy furniture, and an open spot in your bed, Celine might just be your girl.
Learn more or apply at rosalieandfriends.org
