Celeste's Story

Meet Isabelle and her pups Nook, Cranny, Slider, Daisy Mae, Brewster, and Celeste...all named after characters in the game Animal Crossing. We took this family from Murray County Animal Shelter because they were overcrowded and needed help from another rescue as the puppies were only 5 weeks old at the time.

Mama Isabelle weighs 50 pounds and Celeste weighs ~20 lbs at 5 months old.

Celeste spent some time in a foster home learning some puppy manners and here is what she has to say about herlelf after having that experience:

I like other dogs to play with and enjoy meeting new people. I also love going for walks but my foster mom says I still need a little practice not pulling on the leash. I have been working on recall and if you throw a ball I will bring it back to you. In the house I play nicely by myself with toys...ball are one of my favorite kinds of toys! I have also learned to sit before my food is set down for me. I am a quick learner (so I'm told) and already know the phrases sit, stay, wait, and this way. I got used to sleeping in a crate at night so already know the rules of crate training.

We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.

The adoption fee is $160 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.

If you are interested in this pet, please fill out our ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://bit.ly/3HN4Tqq

Visit our website at www.PetPlacementCenter.com
