PLEASE SHARE!! She's in New England. <br/><br/><br/>She needs to be the only pet in the home. It is VERY hard to find homes for dogs who need to be the only pet in the home. No dogs, no cats. <br/><br/>She loves people!! <br/><br/>She is all the things. A stunning beauty, heartwarmingly affectionate, and playfully mischievous in the most innocent way. <br/><br/>She follows some basic commands such as sit, is house trained, and very food motivated. <br/><br/>We do not know her breed. We only have her looks/size to go by. <br/>Great Dane, Catahoula, Lab? We dont know for sure but we do know shes a beauty!<br/><br/>Shes about 80 pounds, one and a half years old. <br/><br/>We have so many more pictures and videos but can only put 4 on this website. Adopt A Stray Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process begins with an adoption application, which requires 3 non family personal references and a vet reference if the applicant has had pets in the past 5 years. We check all references, asking about their home, yard, available time for a pet, financial capability of caring for a pet, etc. We contact their vet on file and verify that past or present pets have been spayed/neutered and kept up to date on recommended vaccinations as well as heartworm prevention. If all references check out, we then use various social media apps and google to make sure there are no red flags, then we move forward with the adoption if all of that checks out.
