Hello there! My name is Celeste, but if I could be so bold I think you should think of me like Dolly Parton: I am a superstar with some solid curves and I love to work! I am a 6-year-old pittie princess who is looking for a forever home through Fetching Tails Foundation. I I have a solid, low-riding 60-pound body and gorgeous dulce de leche coloring. My smooshy face is quite irresistible: my big mischievous grin perfectly demonstrates my independent, intelligent personality and my soulful eyes let you know just how affectionate I am.

My friends from Fetching Tails saved me from Chicago Animal Care and Control. I am looking forward and ready to move on to my happily ever after now, though! I am a very smart lady, and do best with a patient forever family who will help me exercise both my mind and my body. My favorite activities include long walks and playing with puzzle toys. I am a dog who thrives when I have a job and something to keep me busy, so I would love an active family who is ready to keep me engaged. When I am all tired out, be ready for some big pittie kisses and cuddles on the couch! I get along with other dogs with a proper introduction, and would prefer a home without young children.

I have great manners and am learning more all the time! I am potty and crate trained, and can rest at home with my favorite toys while you are away at work or errands (though I would prefer a long walkie when you get home so I can burn some of my energy!) I am a quick learner and eager to please, so I would love to attend training classes with my forever humans so we can see how many commands and tricks we can master together. Plus it is a good way for us to bond with each other, too! Doesn't that sound like tons of fun?! More than anything, I would love a family that will give me the attention and affection I crave. *ADOPTION FEE: $250
*Be at least 21 years of age
*Live in a 50-mile radius of Itasca, within the Illinois border
*Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household
*Have approval from owner of residence (written in lease)
*Have a valid ID with current address (please provide proof of address if ID address is not up-to-date)
*Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Fetching Tails Foundation
*Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment
