Cedar's Story
Cedar is about 1 year old and has been making great improvements over the past couple weeks. He has learned to recall with his name, house train, crate train. He learned the inground fence system quickly. We have not had one issue with him running through it. Even when we walk past the boundary he stays. He fits in well with our other short hairs. He does well around little kids and teenagers. He doesn't show any fear with loud noises. He has good prey drive. We raise quail and have exposed him to some birds. He definitely has a strong sense of smell and prey drive. So he shows potential to be a great bird hunting companion. Hes only been around a few cats at the vet office so we cannot say if he is cat friendly. When we got him we could tell hes had zero training of any kind and was probably never inside a home. Everything was new including going up and down stairs, walking on hard wood floors, playing with dog toys. He is a fast learner and turning out to be a great dog.

Cedar’s adoption fee is $250. He is fostered in northwest Arkansas. Apply at www.makgsprescue.org
