Meet Cedar<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Cedar is an 11-week-old Border Collie/Heeler mix who just came to us this past week—and this boy is sharp. He's already learned how to sit, picks up on things quickly, and is constantly watching, thinking, and figuring things out. He's not just a cute puppy... he's a really intelligent one who's going to need someone ready to keep up with him.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>He's currently in a foster home with other dogs, cats, and kids. He's doing well, but he does need a little time to warm up and feel safe before he fully settles in. Once he does, you can see him start to relax and show more of his personality.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Being the biggest of the group, Cedar definitely has a bit of a “boss” mentality—especially around food—so he's going to need clear boundaries and guidance as he grows. He's also still working on potty training, so consistency is key.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Cedar isn't the kind of puppy who will just figure things out on his own—he's going to thrive with someone experienced in positive reinforcement training who understands how to build trust and give him structure.
