She recently finished heartworm treatment and survived two very boring months of crate rest, and now she’s happy, energetic, and ready for a home of her own.<br/><br/>She’s still learning to trust people and is not a dog who wants immediate hugs and cuddling. She prefers to move at her own pace and will warm up with time, consistency, and snacks. Food is her love language. Cheese is top tier.<br/><br/>Cecilia LOVES other dogs and absolutely needs a dog friend in the home to help build her confidence and burn energy. She’s good with cats and will try to play with them.<br/><br/>Things Cecilia would like you to know:<br/>Farm birds are snacks, not pets.<br/>Fences are suggestions and she will test them.<br/><br/>Because of this, a secure, husky-proof fenced yard is required and homes with farm animals are not a good fit.<br/><br/>She’s house trained, gentle, and does best with a calm routine and a place to decompress. This is not an instant cuddle dog. This is a dog who will quietly steal your heart once she trusts you.
