Meet CeCe.....Her and her brother (we think) were acquired by a friend of the rescue after someone approached her about free puppies. She took them because she did not want them going to a bad home, but she couldn't keep them. They were outside in the heat and covered with fleas and had a high load of intestinal parasites. We took them in and got them vetted. They are now thriving with a foster who has other dogs and cats. They love to bark as do most little dogs. They bark to play, to eat, and to go outside. Anything exciting makes them bark and so excitied, the true definition of a puppy. CeCe has not been as vocal as her brother, though. But when everything is quiet and calm, so are they. They love to be held and will just melt when you pick them up. On 7/21, CeCe weighed in at a whooping 3.9 pounds and vet guess her to be about 10 weeks old. The GUESS of chihuahua/yorkie mix is a complete guess. CeCe could surprise us and be a Great Pyrenes but I doubt it. She has small feet and vet's best guess was that she would be a small dog weighing less than 25 pounds full grown. And lets not forget to mention their tiny curled tails. They are working on crate training and do very well. They have not pooped in kennel in 3 nights and only 2 piddles in 3 nights. (their kennel has half puppy pad/half bed) They have also been using puppy pads at foster home as well. Everytime they go outside to potty, they always potty then run back to the door.
