While she may be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new things, this sweet girl has so much love to give to the family willing to earn her trust.<br/><br/>Cayenne is fully house trained and crate trained, making the transition into her forever home a little easier. She is incredibly loyal once she feels safe and will quickly become your devoted best friend.<br/><br/>Because she's a naturally fearful dog, Cayenne may bark when she's unsure of something. The good news? She's eager to please and responds very well to gentle guidance and soft leash corrections. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, her confidence continues to grow.<br/><br/>Cayenne would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion who can show her the ropes and help her feel secure. A fenced yard is also important so she has a safe place to run, play, and build confidence.<br/><br/>She can live with cats, although she currently likes to bark at them. She has never tried to hurt a cat, but she'll need continued training to learn that feline friends aren't so scary.<br/><br/>If you have a patient heart and are willing to let Cayenne blossom at her own pace, you'll be rewarded with one of the most loyal, loving companions you could ask for.
