Hello! I am an adorable little puppy surrendered to my rescue. My rescue was told I'm a cavapoo - I am just the cutest little boy! I'm estimated at around 14 weeks old as of mid-December and am hoping I will have a home by the holidays! My adoption fee is more than the other puppies and dogs at my rescue, but I'm told that I'm a more 'desirable' puppy than my other friends, who are not as fortunate and will be at the rescue much longer than me, waiting for their forever home. My adopter will know that their fee will be helping support the other 200 or so animals at the rescue and not lining a breeder's pockets. My $1,100 adoption fee includes vet exam, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, initial grooming, microchip, and neuter at one of my rescue's vets (Fort Myers, Port Charlotte, Naples or Orlando) when I'm closer to 6 months of age. 1) Submit application 2) Application is reviewed for completeness and assigned to an adoption coordinator 3) Adoption coordinator verifies critical information on the application, contacts references and ensures that the requested animal is a good fit for the family 4) Adoption coordinator, in conjunction with rescue management, approves or denies application 5) Upon notification of approval, an adoption coordinator works with foster and adopter to set up an adoption appointment to bring your new family member home! We strive to work through adoption applications as soon as we can. We are 100% volunteer-based so it can take a day or two to complete the review. This also depends on the response time of your references. Should you change your mind or adopt a different animal after submission, please inform us so we do not spend unnecessary time on your application.
