Meet Cassy, a sweet 5 year old female Brittany. She is looking for someone who will care for her and love her for the dog she is. Cassy is more a stay-at-home dog -- she's a little skittish, but that is diminishing a bit with time. Everything she encounters is fairly new to her. She is looking for a home where she will be walked a few times a day and then be a couch potato the remainder of the time. She is a joyful dog and loves to be given lots of praise. If you praise her a lot she will run around in circles and smile for you. She enjoys watching people and other dogs but does not engage in play with the dogs. Cassy would do best in a home as an only dog, where she gets lots of love and attention. If there will be another dog in the home that dog should be a very calm.<br/>Cassy is not a big cuddler, but she does have her moments throughout the day when she likes to sit with you and be petted. Most of the time she will lay on the floor, but will sit on the sofa next to you if invited.<br/>She likes to play with toys and romp around in the snow. She also enjoys a stuffed Kong bone in the evenings or something to chew on. Cassy also like to be outside by herself and will lay in the sun even when it is cold outside, but her foster mom makes her come inside so she doesn’t get too chilly.<br/>She is potty trained and comes when called when in the fenced in yard. She does not counter surf or beg at the table. She is crate trained for when you go out of the house, but she prefers to sleep on a folded soft blanket on the floor in the<br/>bedroom. Cassy requires a physically fenced in yard, and older children would be fine. <br/>Cassy does not have any formal training, but she does want to please her foster<br/>mom and dad.<br/> Cassy has been spayed, is up to date with vaccinations, is heartworm negative and on prevention and microchipped.
