He's learned so many manners in the past year, is fully potty trained, knows basic commands, and is such a silly sweetheart! He LOVES going outside and has recently experienced camping, hiking, and cabin life and does great at them all! Casper is even learning to be a running companion and has gone as far as 3 miles! He will charm you with his bright eyes, big ears, and constant desire to be near you (probably touching, even if it's just a paw). He will melt over forehead scritches and will snuggle with you for hours. Nobody welcomes you back like Casper, whether your journey brought you 10 feet to the garbage can and within sight the whole time, or you were gone for the work day, his enthusiasm will make you feel like the luckiest human alive. He applies that same enthusiasm to morning walks, playing parkour on the furniture and barking while impatiently waiting for you to put on your shoes, or hunting for squirrels (still attempting to master climbing trees), chipmunks, ducks and bunnies. Cats fall into this same category so cat siblings are not a good idea for him. Looking for a bed buddy? Casper is your guy, he loves to snuggle up but will give you the right amount of space all night in bed and can snuggle all morning after a requisite potty break, of course. <br/>Although he can be a little nervous over new things and new people, his curiosity and love of affection and treats will win him over with just a little patience from you, and it is SO worth gaining his trust. He's a bit nervous of children and his excited bark makes kids a little nervous of him too, but he will just give children a wide berth until properly introduced, he's won the heart of one 10 year old boy who says he'd hang out with him anytime. Casper doesn't really know his own weight so he should be supervised around smaller kids. <br/>While he doesn't love his kennel, he will go in as asked. He's such a good boy, he can be left out unsupervised without causing any trouble too so he can adapt to your lifestyle. <br/>Casper super enjoys playing with other playful dogs. He's still learning how to curb his enthusiasm and nerves in public but once he's introduced to a playmate, he can run around with them for hours, so if you're looking for a playmate, he'd love to be that addition to the group. He gets a little bored with his old, resident sister but respects her space and energy. <br/><br/>Favorite Things: Walks/Runs; Cuddling on the couch; Being outside Playing with a fun pup; Chasing toys down the hallway; and Chewing up stuffies with squeakers
