Casper's Story

COURTESY LISTING
PLEASE CONTACT THIS EMAIL
Krowla1212@spectrum..net

This one is kind of hard for me as Casper was my wife's favorite.
Born 7-28-19 80 lbs. Neutered Male Blue Merle. Brown eyes.

Keep in mind we live in the country, so he is let out off leash to do his business. Casper is an indoor dog. He still has two other dogs and 7 cats that live inside with him. The other two dogs are his parents. They are generally let out together, one at a time. Casper will "go after" the female when first let out. They snarl, growl, and wrestle for only seconds. If you watch them, their mouths never close. It is a form of play for Casper. Another dog may not take it as play, but aggression. Casper will run off and do his business. He does not leave the yard, but our yard is 2 acres. He will come running back at the female and snap at her as he goes by. Again just play for him. I let them stay out till they come back to the door on their own and are ready to come in. Generally only minutes. He went through obedience training in his first year. He listens well. He sits, lays down, "leave it", stays on command. He is trained to a leash, but I have not had one on him for a long time. He loves going for car rides and does well. He occasionally will chase a cat when one runs by. He has never hurt any of the cats. The most he has done is put his muzzle on them. He has never bitten one. My Granddaughter, her boyfriend, and 2-month-old son moved in with me a couple of weeks ago. Casper barks at anyone who comes to the door, even those he knows. He doesn't show any aggression when they come in. He has shown curiosity about the baby and "checks him out", but nothing more.

Personally, I think the perfect adoptive candidate would be someone with a fenced yard, so he has room to run. Someone who will provide him a lot of attention and love. Someone who will take him for walks to exercise and socialize him.

Casper is a beautiful dog. I am asking $400 re-homing fee for him. Please let me know if you would like to meet him.
Thank you
Krowla1212@spectrum.net
