Casper's Story
Meet Casper

Casper is a 1-year-old mixed breed weighing around 35 pounds, and he's a playful, affectionate boy who's ready to find a family committed to helping him become the best dog he can be.

This handsome guy loves to play! Whether he's tossing around his favorite toys, romping with another dog, or splashing in the water, Casper is always ready for fun. He's done wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions to burn off some energy with.

At the end of the day, though, Casper is a total cuddle bug. He loves being close to his people and will happily curl up beside you after a day of adventures. He even sleeps through the night snuggled up in bed and walks beautifully on a leash, making him a wonderful companion for neighborhood strolls.

Like many young dogs, Casper is still learning his manners. He's making great progress but will need a family willing to continue working on things like jumping up to say hello and staying off the counters. He's also learning that new and unfamiliar things—like the vacuum, ice maker, or delivery trucks—aren't as scary as they seem. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, his confidence continues to grow every day.

Casper is making excellent progress with house training when given regular opportunities to go outside. While the crate isn't his favorite place, he will settle in and rest when needed. He can also be a little anxious when left alone and enjoys knowing his people are nearby, so a family that can continue building his confidence and independence will help him thrive.

Like many dogs, Casper understandably feels the need to protect his food from other dogs, so mealtimes should be managed appropriately. He has shown no guarding toward people and happily allows his foster family to safely pick up his bowl or reach near him while hes eating.

Casper has not yet been tested with cats or children, but he has done wonderfully with other dogs and loves having furry friends around.

If you're looking for a fun-loving, loyal companion who's eager to learn and has so much love to give, Casper is ready to start his next chapter with you.

Think Casper could be your perfect match?
https://form.jotform.com/82708252435154
