Casper's Story

Casper came to us as a very timid stray, unsure of the world around him-but wow, has he blossomed! With the help of his canine buddies here at the shelter, he's found his confidence and discovered that life is actually pretty fun. One of his favorite things? Heading to playgroup to romp around with his doggy friends!

Casper is a shy guy who does best with slow, gentle introductions and requires a second "get-to-know-you" date before heading home, just to make sure everyone feels comfortable. Once he warms up, though, his playful, goofy side really shines!

He would love a home with at least one friendly dog to show him the ropes and keep him company. Because of his sensitive, gentle nature, Casper would do best in a home with teens and up. With a patient adopter and a furry friend by his side, Casper will absolutely thrive and become the most loyal, playful companion.
