Casi's Story
Meet Casi! She’s 8 years old and 10 lbs of pure affection. We (and by we I mean me and my pom Bodin) fostered Casi very last minute as they needed someone to take her the day she arrived from Texas. I’ve fostered previously and know that most pups need time to adjust and decompress so I was prepared for that. Casi came into our home and did not miss a beat! She hopped on our couch, asked for pets and was napping on the couch no doubt exhausted from her trip for the rest of the day. Once she got her beauty sleep, she woke up and went potty on her pad like a pro. We had a lazy Sunday morning, and she waited patiently while I made her breakfast. She had a hearty appetite and plopped herself back on the couch while I ate my breakfast.

It was time for walkies and as luck would have it Casi fit perfectly into a pink knit sweater that was a little too big for my Pom. We went to the corner store and she led the way, sniffing her surroundings but keeping a steady pace. Casi was surrendered by a breeder so I'm not sure of her life in Texas, but the city noises did not bother her one bit. She got many compliments in her little sweater and made friends with our bodega guy and fellow pups we see on our weekend walks. She settled into our daily schedule so seamlessly. She is most at home on the couch watching tv on your lap, she will climb on your lap and paw at you until you rub her tummy.

My boy pom is also a breeder surrender and the same age as Casi so we felt a connection there. Casi would be a great addition to any home that can spoil her to heart’s content.

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
To adopt Casi, apply on our website www.truenorthrescue.org/adopt and email adopt.truenorthrescue@gmail.com to follow up on your application.

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL TO ASK IF HE/SHE IS AVAILABLE.
