Luckily, some kind people scooped us up, and now I'm in Minnesota, patiently waiting for my forever family.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a best friend, I think we should meet. My foster mom says I'm the perfect work-from-home coworker because I'm happy to snooze by her feet (or sometimes right on top of them) while she works. I'll happily claim my spot on the couch beside you. Feel like getting outside? I love long walks and have great leash manners. Need to run errands? I love other dogs, ignore cats (although they're a little mysterious, so I respectfully give them some space), and sleep quietly in my crate all night. My foster parents say I settled into home life almost immediately because I stay out of trouble and am just an all-around good boy.<br/><br/>Mostly, I'm just looking for someone to love. I have a huge heart, plenty of cuddles to give, and I'm ready to spend the rest of my life being your loyal sidekick.<br/><br/>Could that be you?<br/><br/>*****<br/>Cash is heartworm positive and is awaiting a negative test result. His treatment has been completed but he recently had a positive microfilaria test. He will need topical heartworm prevention, Barrier, each month until the microfilaria test is negative- that preventative will be provided by the rescue until his next test. He will need a microfilaria test every 2-3 months until he has a negative result. During these months, he does not need to be on exercise restrictions. Other than the topical preventative, all other medical needs will be the responsibility of the adoptive family. <br/>--------------------------------------------<br/>"Summer Lovin' Promo" For applications received now through 07/31/2026, Warrior Dog Rescue is reducing the adoption fee of all pups. This is reflected in the adoption fee shown below.<br/><br/>All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. <br/><br/>Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
