He was dumped at a boarding facility in Phoenix, and sadly, his owner never came back for him. For over six long months, this sweet boy has been waiting, day after day, for someone to give him the love and home he deserves.

Cash is just a young pup at only a year old, full of potential and longing for a real family. He walks well on a leash, takes treats gently, and knows how to sit. Though he can be a little shy and timid when meeting new people, with a little patience and kindness, he quickly warms up and shows his sweet, loving personality.

Cash should be spending his days running around, playing with toys, and getting all the affection a young dog needs-not living in a kennel 24/7 staring at cement walls.

His behavior around other dogs is unknown, but he has not been reactive to them. We're also unsure how he does with cats or younger kids, so older kids may be best. A proper dog introduction will be required to ensure he gets along with other pets.

Cash is ready to trade his kennel walls for a loving home and a family to call his own. Forever Friends Humane Society's Adoption Policy
I first screen potential adopters, make sure it's a good fit for the dog,if not I suggest a dog that will fit in properly, then I make sure there are no restrictions as in breed or weight. I do a meet and greet sometimes in the home with the dog sometimes without the dog,but always a home check prior to them getting a dog. Then foster to adopt which means fostering a dog for a period of a week (7 days) then they can decide to continue to foster or adopt. All dogs get 2 free training sessions with a certified trainer once adopted, she also comes to initial drop off or later that day to go over how to be a great new dog owner.
