Cash's Story
Cash (and his brother Chip) came to JoJo’s when they found themselves homeless through no fault of their own. Emergency circumstances caused their owner to need to move away and she was unable to take her dogs with her.

Cash is a little guy at about 8 lbs. He is very affectionate, gives kisses happily, and loves life. We think he will be happier being adopted without his brother, who tends to pick on him. Because of all the crate and indoor time, Cash was trained to use a pee pad, so full housebreaking is a work in progress. He will still need your help to understand that he should always potty outside, but that is understandable since he was not asked to do that until recently. We do not use pee pads, but if you prefer to use then he may already be considered housebroken.

For the past few months due to his owner’s unfortunate circumstances, Cash has had to spend a lot of time being in a crate and not getting to romp and play much. While Cash is really snuggly, at only 2 ½ years old he still want lots of regular fun “dog time” running and playing – he’s been doing so much of that since he came to us a few days ago that we’ve had a hard time capturing pictures of him. He can be an only dog, but if you have another dog that is OK too as long as they won’t bully him like his brother has been doing.

Although we do not have papers, we were told Cash and Chip were adopted from a Yorkshire Terrier breeder, so to the best of our knowledge he is a pure-bred Yorkie.

If you are interested in meeting Cash, please email us at jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you an application, or download one from our website www.jojosdoghouse.com. Adoption fee is $400 and includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and parasite treatment and prevention.

Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters!
